SUBJECT: Update on Website Migration of Faculty Scholarly Content

Thank you for your patience as we continue to migrate the remaining content that appears on www2 websites.

Many of you have already transitioned your course-related content to Blackboard. If you still have course content in a www2 website, we ask that you contact the Center for Innovative Pedagogy (ext. 4804) at your earliest convenience, in order to make arrangements to have your content migrated to the College's Learning Management System of choice, Blackboard.

For those of you who have other academic content—content that is not related to course instruction—in a www2 website, we are happy to announce that we have identified a pilot group of eleven faculty who have been invited to participate in the Phase One migration of their scholarly content onto the College's content management system, Omni Update. Training and limited support will be provided by the Office of Information Technology Services (ITS) in order to complete this pilot. Faculty will be provided access to new web space in the College's Content Management System, for this purpose. If you would like to closely manage the transition of content related to your own scholarly interest or if you would like to participate in the forthcoming Phase 2 pilot effort, please contact Dr. Paul Beaudin at ext. 4089.

The website steering committee continues its task of assuring that the College's web spaces provide the accessibility, security, and compliance mandated by Federal and State regulations. In order to fully meet this responsibility, it is our intention to only extend the expiration of www2 websites to January 31, 2018.
